Gentleman Theme Silicone Fondant Mould - 7 Designs

Men's cakes are the hardest brief in the book, and this mould solves most of it in one press. Seven menswear designs are moulded in a single sheet - a shoulder bag with a buckled strap, two perfume bottles (one flat-faced, one with a quilted texture), a wristwatch resting on a cushion, a flat wallet or card holder, a pair of laced sneakers and a soft-brim hat. Cavities run roughly 1.5 to 2 inches, which is the right scale to sit on a 6 or 8 inch tier without crowding it. The detail is where this one earns its price - stitching lines, watch links, shoe laces and quilting all come through cleanly instead of turning into a soft blur. Made from flexible food-grade silicone, so finished pieces pop out without tearing, and the mould handles fondant, gum paste, modelling chocolate, isomalt, candy melts, soap and polymer clay equally well. Dust with cornflour before pressing for the crispest release, and dust finished pieces with lustre or paint them for a metallic finish. Heat and freezer safe, easy to wash and reusable indefinitely.
