Petal & Leaf Veining Board - Gum Paste Flower Modelling Tray

This is the board that turns flat fondant cut-outs into proper wired sugar flowers. The surface carries grooves in several graduated widths. Roll gum paste or flower paste across a groove and the paste stays thin either side but fills the channel, leaving a raised ridge running down the middle. Cut your petal or leaf so that ridge sits centrally, and you have a thickened spine that a wire pushes into and grips - which is the whole reason professional sugar flowers can be bent, arranged and posed instead of lying flat on the cake. Different groove widths let you work everything from small blossom petals up to large leaves and roses on the same board. Work on the smooth reverse side for rolling, cutting and general modelling, and use a ball tool along the petal edge to frill and cup once it is cut. Made from firm non-stick plastic, so paste lifts away cleanly and the board does not warp - dust lightly with cornflour if you are working with a very soft paste. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and store flat. Best paired with a foam pad, ball tool, floral wire and petal cutters.

Returns & Refunds: We do not accept routine returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect selection. Claims for wrong, missing, materially different, or demonstrably defective/damaged products must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with required evidence. All claims are reviewed as per the circumstances and applicable law.

Returns will be accepted for up to 10 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:

– Received the wrong item.
– Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging).
– Item had defects.
– Over delivery time.
– The shipper does not allow the goods to be inspected before payment.

The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
