Applying dots the usual way means cutting dozens of tiny fondant circles and sticking them on one at a time - slow, never quite evenly spaced, and they catch and lift at the edges when the cake is handled. This tool engraves the dots instead: press the plate into rolled fondant and it leaves clean recessed dots in a perfectly regular grid, flush with the surface, with nothing to peel off. The result is subtle and expensive-looking - a texture rather than a decoration - which is why it suits christenings, engagements, bridal and elegant birthday cakes where applied dots would look childish. The dots vary slightly in size across the plate, which stops the pattern reading as mechanical and gives it the hand-finished quality that a stencil cannot. Press it over the whole panel before you cover the cake, or work section by section on an already-covered tier. Because the dots are recessed they also take colour beautifully: brush a lustre or a deeper shade across the surface and the pigment settles into each dot, turning a plain tier into a spotted one in seconds. Returns & Refunds: We do not accept routine returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect selection. Claims for wrong, missing, materially different, or demonstrably defective/damaged products must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with required evidence. All claims are reviewed as per the circumstances and applicable law.

Returns will be accepted for up to 10 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:

– Received the wrong item.
– Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging).
– Item had defects.
– Over delivery time.
– The shipper does not allow the goods to be inspected before payment.

The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
