Giraffe Mother and Baby Silicone Mould - Realistic Patterned Giraffe Pair for Baby Shower Cakes, Cookies, Fondant and Clay Craft

Mother and baby, and that is what sells it. A giraffe pair is the single most requested motif on baby shower and first birthday cakes, because the image does the emotional work before anyone reads the message on the board - and this mould gives you both figures in one press, already scaled to each other. The mother stands 130 x 82 mm and the baby 85 x 40 mm, so the size relationship is right without you cutting anything down. Both are cut deep with individually defined patch markings across the neck, body and legs, the coat pattern getting finer down the legs exactly as it does on a real giraffe. That patchwork is the whole reason to use a mould rather than model by hand: painting it on freehand never comes out even, and a flat unpatterned giraffe looks like a toy. Dust or paint the demoulded pieces in tan and cream and they read as sculpted. The two cavities sit side by side, so you can cast them together and place them as a pair leaning into each other on a cake side, or use the mother alone as a topper and the baby on the board. Food grade silicone, flexible and non-stick, so the fine legs and the tapering neck release without snapping. Works with fondant, gum paste, modelling chocolate and isomalt, and with polymer clay, resin, soap and wax for craft, keyrings and nursery pieces.
